Dubai – In the scope of reinforcing their respective imprint in the regional market and in the United Arab Emirates, United Insurance Company and Fidelity Assurance and Reinsurance SARL celebrated a newfound identity as Fidelity United, originated from the recent partnership between both companies. The ceremony gathered members of the Board of Directors, Chairman Mr. Nawwaf Ghobash Ahmed Ghubash Almarri, Vice-Chairman Mr. Ricardo Maurice Sleiman, as well as CEO of Fidelity United, Mr. Bilal Adhami and representatives of prominent insurance players in the market

Fidelity United celebrated this new milestone, based on mutual trust and confidence, and Mr. Ghobash described the newfound relationship between both companies as “the birth of a new success story, that will bring its overall and robust expertise to the UAE market, as well as the regional market”. Moreover, he mentioned the strong impact Fidelity has in the Lebanese market and highlighted the fact that it will bring great proficiency, boost to the UAE market and add value to the entity, that is Fidelity United.

In the occasion, Mr. Adhami in his turn expressed his point on change and how the new identity of Fidelity United will bring success and development to the table, saying that “Fidelity United is ready for a new identity, a new vision and a new beginning”. The CEO of Fidelity United also underlined the fact that this merge will be governed by their core principles and values that they take pride in. The company’s aim is to bring more empowerment to its partners, associated and clients for long term relationship. Mr. Adhami also relates to the success of the Fidelity United, in the past year, as a mere reflection of the steadiness and sustainability in its operations based on commitment, confidence and consistency and investing in its passionate and professional teams, innovation and evolution of Fidelity United.

The Vice-Chairman of Fidelity United, Mr. Sleiman, also spoke of the privilege it is to work side by side with a well-established and renowned company in the UAE with years of experience in the Insurance field. “We are looking forward not only to building a new relationship, envisioning Fidelity United to be a market player in the region.
