476 new COVID-19 cases registered in Bahrain

Bahrain yesterday registered 476 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 724 recoveries and three deaths.

Two Bahrainis – a man, 83, and a woman, 59, – and an expat man, 54, died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 472.

Of the new cases, 176 were expat workers, 281 contacts of active cases and 19 travel-related.

An additional 724 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 119,771.

Of the 6,359 active cases, 110 are receiving treatment and 61 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 126,602 cases.

The kingdom has also conducted 3,194,226 tests.
