Qatar Airways is hiring for different roles in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as it resumes flights to the UAE after normalisation of ties with the GCC countries.

The US-brokered Al Ula agreement was signed during the 41st GCC Summit held in Saudi Arabia earlier this month, ending the Arab quartet’s boycott of Qatar.

In Dubai, Qatar’s national carrier is looking for an airport services duty officer, senior airport services agent and airport services duty supervisor.

In Abu Dhabi, Qatar Airways is hiring airport services duty supervisor and senior airport services agent to handle its operations.

Below is the list of jobs and requirements.

>> Airport Services Duty Officer – Dubai

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

• Relevant College or University qualification

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in an airline or reputed Ground Handling Operations at supervisory level

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language.

• Knowledge of Weight and Balance, Ramp handling and Dangerous Goods Regulations

• Ability to perform duties under pressure whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service standards

• Good understanding of conditions of carriage, International Civil Aviation Safety and Security procedures

• Experience in areas such as Passenger Services, Baggage Services, Ground Operations, Dangerous Goods Regulations and ramp handling

• High level of computer literacy

• Excellent customer focus and service delivery

>> Senior Airport Services Agent – Dubai

The successful candidate will have:

• Trade or Vocational qualification

• Minimum 3 years of job-related experience required with at least 1 year of relevant experience in Airport Operations of a leading airline

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language

• High energy and positive attitude are necessary to perform well in this very high pressured and demanding environment

• DCS experience and knowledge of ticketing is an advantage

• Ability to manage mishandled baggage services, including service recovery situations with customers

• Ideally completed courses in Passenger Handling and Customer Services

• High level of computer literacy

• Excellent customer focus and service delivery

>> Airport Services Duty Supervisor – Dubai
