MANAMA: Bahraini trucks will be allowed from today to resume their trips to Saudi Arabia via King Fahad Causeway.
“The reopening of the causeway was co-ordinated with the Saudi customs authorities,” Customs exits director Mohammed Al Isa said yesterday.
The causeway has been closed for passenger traffic since March because of Covid, with only trade and emergency activities continuing.
Later, Saudi nationals leaving Bahrain were allowed from July 24 to use the causeway.
