Riyadh –  Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs has issued 178,633 commercial and construction licences during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020 through the Balady platform.

Municipalities across the kingdom issued, renewed, and amended 154,215 commercial licences, according to an official statement.

Moreover, the number of issued construction licences totalled 24,418.

The Balady platform aims to improve the flexibility of efficacy of digital services to enable beneficiaries to carry out various municipal transactions electronically.
