UAE -  ZIN Technologies, a NASA prime contractor, has launched Zin Aerospace Company (ZIN-AS) in the Abu Dhabi Global Market to offer space flight physical and life science instrument solutions in the UAE.

ZIN-AS is a space flight hardware engineering company that develops and operates space flight science instruments on the International Space Station (ISS), according to a press release on Tuesday.

Hence, the company will deliver its Low Earth Orbit (LEO) operational experience and life and physical science technologies portfolio to the UAE and the GCC region, offering engineering and space hardware system manufacturing capabilities.

ZIN-AS has partnered with Holding Space AD Limited (HSAD) in Abu Dhabi to connect stakeholders with prospective regional opportunities. 

At the same time, Zin will collaborate with local agencies and space research centres to encourage young Emiratis to become space scientists and technology pioneers-entrepreneurs.

The Director of ZIN-AS and Chief Operating Officer of ZIN Technologies, Carlos Grodsinsky, said: "We have two physical science near term opportunities that we are targeting to operate on the ISS in 2021 with leading complex fluids-soft matter experts in the field and are seeking to launch our UAE collaborations and future science instrument development through this collaboration."

The Chair of Holding Space AD Limited, Khalid Seddiq Al Muttawa, commented: "ZIN Technologies decided to launch their first international office in the UAE due to its burgeoning space sector and key interest in the space economy."
