Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt's exports of ceramics and sanitaryware declined by 8.2% year-on-year (YoY) to $89 million in the first five months of 2021, compared to $97 million, the Middle East News Agency reported on Tuesday, citing a report by the Export Council of Building Materials.

A total of 45 countries received Egypt's exports of ceramics and sanitaryware during the January-May period.

Libya was the largest importer of Egypt's ceramics with a value of $8.534 million during the first five months of the year.

Ceramic exports to Yemen fell by 54% to $3.078 million and those to Saudi Arabia decreased by 4% to $3.652 million.
