American International Group (AIG) has appointed Thomas Lillelund as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East and Africa, General Insurance.
AIG stated that in addition to his new role, Lillelund will continue to serve as the CEO of AIG Europe with responsibility for Continental Europe and Ireland.
Lillelund will be based in both Luxembourg and Dubai and his appointment is with immediate effect.
Additionally, Lillelund will report to Lex Baugh, Acting Chief Executive Officer, International General Insurance, and Global Chief Underwriting Officer for Casualty and Financial Lines, General Insurance.
