Abu Dhabi: The first-ever Abu Dhabi Engine Week launched last weekend in the UAE capital, with tens of thousands of visitors and residents taking part.

The event, organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and taking place until 6 April, brings together three of the UAE’s biggest and most-anticipated motoring events along with a festival of entertainment.

Engine Week’s first two events were a resounding success. Jam-packed with water sports, kid-friendly activities and more, Club Social culminated in a sold out concert by the British band Bastille.

Engine Week’s most anticipated event will take place from 4 to 6 April when Yas Marina Circuit hosts the region’s first FIA World Rallycross event, which include championship racing, drifting events, live music, BMX biking and parkour displays, as well as an tantalising selection of food truck offerings.
