Dubai-UAE:–  axs, TECOM Group’s smart gateway for integrated services founded in 2014, is showcasing its robotic process automation (RPA) solution that facilitates employment visa processing through concurrent 24x7 execution at the 38th edition of GITEX Technology Week.

During the event that is currently underway at the Dubai World Trade Centre, axs is offering visitors detailed insights into the architecture and environment of its RPA solution.

In line with the event’s theme ‘Adaptive Technology for Business Acceleration’, the company’s RPA solution decreases overall processing time while ensuring transparent and efficient employment visa issue, renewal and cancellation, bringing significant benefits to customers.

Ayoub Kazim, Managing Director of axs, said: “Our participation in GITEX Technology Week 2018 is part of our ongoing efforts to consolidate the UAE’s global leadership in the technology field. In our bid to achieve a competitive advantage, we work relentlessly to leverage technological innovation to increase operational efficiency, enhance ease of doing business and improve employee morale.”

He added: “As per our bot-automated proof-of-concept (POC) findings on the differences between the eDNRD visa application process managed manually and via RPA technology, it is clear that we have a real opportunity to maximise resource utilisation here. Through eliminating manual intervention and engaging the workforce in non-repetitive tasks that require human intellect, we aim to reduce data errors, and thereby save on cost of correction.”

Ahmed Al Muhairi, Executive Director Commercial Operations at axs, said: “At axs, we support TECOM Group’s efforts to align with the National Innovation Strategy, through providing smart government and corporate solutions and transforming our centres into fully digitalised environments. Digital transformation has changed government operations across the world. axs endeavours to contribute to the UAE’s mission to enhance overall competitiveness through providing cutting-edge smart solutions.”

The axs solution dispenses with repetitive, time-consuming pipeline tasks through implementing a first-of-its-kind 24-hour digital platform that seamlessly manages corporate services to provide businesses with a smart user experience.
