United Arab Emirates, Dubai : Software AG has recently awarded the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for ‘Excellence in Business Process in the Government’ for DHA’s outstanding and innovative use of the process management platform. The award recognizes DHA’s innovation through Software AG’s Business Process Transformation and Management Platform ‘ARIS’, acknowledging the authority’s excellence in transforming, analyzing and optimizing business processes and customer journeys.

The award was presented to Ahmed Al Nuaimi, CEO of Joint Corporate Support Services at the DHA by Mr. Rami Kichli, Vice-President Gulf and Levant, Software AG during the GITEX exhibition 2021.

Ahmed Al Nuaimi, CEO of Joint Corporate Support Services at the DHA said: “DHA is keen to utilize technology in the health sector across various verticals with an aim to further improve efficiencies, reduce costs and save time. We have also been implementing technology with an aim to provide the highest quality of healthcare to our patients as well as to improve patient experience, convenience and care. This award is a testament to our commitment to use technology to further drive the health sector in Dubai towards excellence in line with international standards.”

The transformation also enabled DHA to achieve a high level of standardization of patient experience taking the third spot in 2019 from 18th in 2017 in the Customer Happiness Index among government entities in Dubai.

Dr Fatma Al Sharaf, Director of Corporate Quality and Excellence Department said:  “The upscale processes implemented have also aided us to improve productivity at no additional operational costs. The JCI accreditation of one unified network earned as a result of the project has helped us reduce costs at many levels and streamline all patient and clinical processes. We have managed to further elevate our innovation efforts across the continuum of care for our residents. We thank Software AG for recognizing us with the award which highlights our commitment towards excellence and our dedication to the people of Dubai,” concluded Al Sharaf.
