Sharjah: Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah (Sajaya), a subsidiary of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, will honour more than 50 entities on December 20 this year in recognition of their contributions to support Sajaya’s annual events and programmes.

Themed ‘Collaborates & sponsors awarding ceremony’, the event will honour the entities’ wholehearted cooperation in organising Sajaya’s activities, and celebrate their belief in Sajaya’s vision of equipping new generations of young female leaders with distinctive skills and capabilities to steer a better future for themselves and their nation.

At the event, Sajaya will announce the ‘The Giving Person of the Year (2018–19)’ to honour a public figure who has supported or sponsored Sajaya’s activities, leaving a lasting positive impact on the entity during the said period.

Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah was established under the umbrella of Children’s Centres in 2004 and commenced operations as an independent entity in 2012, following an administrative decision by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA).
