The Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai team participated recently in the 11th edition of ‘Dubai Cares Walk for Education’ to support the cause for millions of children around the world who are deprived of the opportunity to learn. The event was held at Dubai Creek Park last February 14, 2020.

Mr. Simon Moore, General Manager of Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai, said. “We are proud to extend our support to this great cause to demonstrate our solidarity with children in less developed parts of the world who walk long distances to simply access their basic right to education. As part of our corporate social responsibility our goal is to make a lasting difference in people’s lives regardless of their gender, nationality or race and ‘Dubai Cares Walk for Education’ is a great initiative in that aspect.”

Dubai Cares is playing a key role in helping achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning by 2030, by supporting programs in early childhood development, access to quality primary and secondary education, technical and vocational education and training for youth as well as a particular focus on emergencies and protracted crises. The UAE-based global philanthropic organization has successfully launched education programs reaching over 20 million beneficiaries in 59 developing countries.
