Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, visited Ajman Government Pavilion at the 39th GITEX Technology Week, he was briefed on the services provided by Ajman Digital Government and the participating entities. His Highness praised the new projects and initiatives that provide the best services to citizens in the most efficient and effective manner.

Sheikh Rashid said, “GITEX is an elite platform that caters to local and international entities bringing together departments, institutions, entities and companies under one roof to exchange experiences and expertise. Learning about the best experiences, applications and smart services.”

He expressed his pride in the Ajman Government departments achieving pioneering level in the field of digital transformation, which has significantly contributed to simplifying procedures, and enabling customers to complete their transactions in record time using mobile devices”.

His Highness added that the participation of the Municipality and Planning Departments and other departments put a distinctive footprint in the record of success and progress. He stressed that, the UAE has become a model in the field of precedence, it has successfully transformed into a platform that brings together experts from all over the world.

On the other hand, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Municipality and Planning Department accompanied by Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed Bin Omair Al Muhairi, Executive Director of Infrastructure Development Sector inaugurated the Amar System in its third version. It includes 6 distinct services provided by the Department of Planning and Survey. It assists in the issuance of site plans to users, land plans, renewing plans, dividing land, merging land and change of purpose along with other services.

Mr. Abdul Rahman pointed out that the Municipality and Planning Department is constantly seeking to facilitate transactions and achieve customer satisfaction by accomplishing their requests in record time. The direction of smart transformation raises the happiness index; they are becoming part of the integrated process to enjoy services at their convenience. We aim to upgrade Ajman as the most Smart Emirates that delivers happiness to its citizens and residents alike.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al-Muhairi explained that the department has launched many smart services during the last period, which have positively contributed to the development of technological advancement to improve customer experience and it continues to do so.

 Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, Director General of Municipality and Planning signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dell to implement the “Sanad” project, which aims to develop it’s IT capabilities from breakthroughs innovations, continued service and availability by at least 99% in cooperation with Dell's strategic partner, Computing and Advanced Technology.

The Government of Ajman platform witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Department of Tourism Development and  Flabuless FZ LLC, in order to develop and launch a smart application to motivate employees based on the points system.

Ajman Police General Headquarters launched “Rahloon” service through the Ajman Police Smart Application, which includes the transfer of all procedures from manual to electronic, including mortuary, locating burials sites and dropping traffic violations for the deceased this was in cooperation with the Public Prosecution and Ajman Funeral Committee and Ajman Khalifa Hospital.
