Doha: Mondrian Doha, from leading global lifestyle hospitality company sbe, is celebrating the holy month of Ramadan with the opening of its dazzling ‘Alf Leila w Leila tent’ sponsored by Qatar Airways, Al Jaber Engineering, Toyota and Treve Tower. The Ramadan tent, located in the hotel’s Moonstone ballroom, will offer a variety of exceptional culinary experiences during Iftar and Suhoor, complemented by a live band and Tanoura dancers.

The Mondrian Doha Ramadan tent offers a blend of Qatar culture with settings that aim to transport guests to a mystical wonderland at the Arabian Gulf. In keeping with the extensive bespoke work of Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, the influence of the Ramadan tent similarly draws inspiration from the beauty of local patterns, ornate Arabic writing, and historic souks. The essence of ‘One Thousand and One Nights’, a collection of Middle Eastern folk tales and stories, has also influenced the design of the space, which is detail-orientated and complex, with a number of facets, levels, and layers.

Axel Gasser, General Manager at Mondrian Doha Hotel stated: “We would like to wish all our guests a blessed Ramadan. Last year’s success with the Alf Leila w Leila tent inspired us to enhance our invitee’s experience this year. We plan to augment our guest’s experience by taking them on a unique, lavish and entertaining culinary journey. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our wonderlands this Ramadan.”

Guests are invited throughout the month of Ramadan to experience the Ramadan tent’s unique Arabic and International cuisine, with Iftar prices starting from QAR 225 per person and Suhoor starting from QAR 275 per person.

Hudson Tavern will be open daily from sunset to 11 PM

Additionally, the signature steakhouse, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, will be open throughout the month of Ramadan, offering breakfast and lunch menus. Hudson Tavern located on P2 floor will open daily offering an exclusive menu tailored for Ramadan. Magnolia Bakery located in our Frozen Forest will also be open daily from iftar time until eleven-thirty in the evening to cater to all guests visiting or staying at the hotel.
