‘Disruptive VAD’ participates at the Cyber Security Challenge ‘CTF’, organized by Dubai Police
Dubai: Dubai Police is inviting young generations to participate in the second edition of its initiative, titled “Capture the Flag” to inspire them to learn more about cyberspace and strengthen their analytical and problem-solving skills.
The cyber security challenge is organised by Dubai Police with the support of Spire Solutions.
Dubai Police provide an opportunity to youth across the region to build relevant competencies and gain hands-on experience for the future job market.
During this event, which will take place on February 22 and 23 at Hub Zero, City Walk, Dubai, security enthusiasts will be motivated to use their cyber security skills and solve challenges by capturing “flags” from compromised computer networks.
All participants will have to test their offensive and defensive skills in penetrating and protecting networks, cryptography and exploitation while working in teams within a specified timeframe.
To support such an initiative, information security solution architects from Spire Solutions will be joining the challenge to address questions regarding the latest cybercrime techniques and explain the importance of adopting knowledge for cyber protection.
