Riyadh –  Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport on Monday has signed agreements to carry out 88 projects at as much as SAR 5.13 billion in investments over the coming period.

These investments will be implemented by cooperating with private-sector contracting companies, according to the ministry’s statement.

Around 15 projects will be carried out in Riyadh, 15 in Makkah, 13 investments in Asir, eight projects in Hail, six investments will be implemented in the Eastern Province, and six projects in Medina, the ministry said.

Another three investments will be set up in Al-Qassim, two projects will be implemented in Al Jawf, along with another project in Al Bahah region.

The kingdom will also set up five projects for traffic safety over the whole regions in the kingdom as a part of these investments.
