Venetian-themed entertainment continues to delight visitors

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: City Walk, the design-inspired open-air lifestyle destination by Meraas, is set to wrap up the final weekend of Street Fest with an exciting line-up of Halloween activities and Food Fest by the Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet and Le BHV Marais. Once again, Venetian-themed entertainment will take centre stage.

City Walk Street Fest

From 1 to 3 November (Thursday to Saturday) between 5pm and 10pm, City Walk will once again transform into a vibrant carnival venue with a range of spectacular performances and activities for the entire family, including a Venetian grand parade and roaming entertainers, such as dancers, musicians, Italian classical singers, stilt walkers and unicyclists.

Floating prizes in the form of vouchers from up to 25 participating retail and dining outlets, such as B’dou and Butcha Steakhouse & Grill, will be up for grabs throughout the hourly parades.

Children can dress up in Venetian costumes or design their own masquerade masks at art workshops. To capture the magic, a gondola-shaped photo booth will be set up at the destination. Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics and Belgian chocolatier Godiva will give away special treats near the dedicated kids’ zone, including complimentary facials for moms and ice cream for kids.

Halloween activities

Adults and children visiting the destination dressed in costumes during the final weekend can win attractive prizes. The owner of the best costume will walk away with the grand prize – a photoshoot for an hour sponsored by children’s store Level Kids.

Mattel Play! Town and The Green Planet will host a range of Halloween-centric activities. Little visitors to Mattel Play! Town can enjoy pumpkin hunts, ‘spook-tacular’ dance parties, trick-or-treating, live entertainment and puppet shows, while The Green Planet will entertain children with face painting, arts and crafts workshops, and treasure hunts.

Diners can stop by American eatery Clinton St. Baking Company that will be decked out in the colours of the season – orange and black – and feast on Halloween cake, pumpkin pie and cupcakes in a spooky ambience.

Food Fest by Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet and Le BHV Marais

To add to the excitement, Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet and Le BHV Marais will host a three-day Food Fest this Thursday till Saturday (01 – 03 November) from the afternoon till late, with a different schedule each day.

With the participation of international kitchens from Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet and other eateries within City Walk, the outdoor event will celebrate the diversity of Dubai’s street food with a live DJ and band, entertainment for the whole family and a fun shopping experience courtesy of Le BHV Marais.

Visitors can browse a mix of stalls with a rustic feel, set up behind Le BHV Marais and adorned with umbrellas and fairy lights. An interactive fun zone for kids will feature Zumba classes, magic shows, face painting, kids’ pop-up with pastry decorating and a lot more.

The final weekend of Street Fest at City Walk will offer something fun for everyone.
