Dubai: United Arab Bank (UAB) has announced a generous contribution of AED 50,000 to support Ajman Club for Disabled.

Sheikh Mohamed Al Nuaimi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, UAB, presented the donation cheque to Dr. Marwan Abdul Majeed Ibrahim, Executive Manager of Ajman Club for Disabled, at the headquarters of the club, in the presence of senior officials from both sides.

As a token of appreciation, the Club presented a special trophy to Sheikh Mohamed, in recognition of the bank’s outstanding support.

Supporting People of Determination

Sheikh Mohamed Al Nuaimi said: “UAB initiative clearly reflects its commitment to supporting and encouraging people of determination, in line with the UAE leadership’s vision”.

“It’s everyone’s responsibility to help this segment unlock their potential, prove themselves and overcome their disability. They have to get their fair share of attention and be given the chance to be productive and build the nation”, Al Nuaimi added.

Social Responsibility

For his part, Dr. Marwan Abdul Majeed Ibrahim said: “We sincerely thank UAB for this generous contribution, which reflects its commitment to social responsibility and keenness to serve the community.

Such initiatives highlight how much important the concerted efforts are to bring about a decent life for people of determination.  They have to get necessary rehabilitation and training courses and be offered suitable job opportunities that ensure a better future for them”, Ibrahim stated.

Constant Commitment

Meanwhile, Ahmad Abu Eideh, CEO of UAB, said: “It makes us feel proud and honoured that we play a role in improving the lives of people of determination at Ajman Club for Disabled.  This contribution reflects our constant commitment to launching constructive initiatives and activities that do serve the local community and help achieve its well-being and prosperity.
