DUBAI- The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, has announced the details of its Visiting Consultants Programme for June 2019.

This month’s programme features 16 doctors and five consultants in various specialties, including paediatric neurology, paediatric haematology, interventional cardiology, robotic surgery, shoulder joint surgery, diabetes, and endocrinology. Other specialists practice urology, paediatric heart disease, mental disorders, obesity surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics (foetal medicine), chest diseases and sleep disorders, paediatric kidney diseases, and psychiatric diseases.

Patients coming to Al Qassimi Hospital for Women and Children, Al Kuwait Hospital Sharjah, Al Qassimi Hospital, Kalba Hospital, Fujairah Hospital, Ibrahim bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospital, Khorfakkan Hospital and Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital, Dubai, will have specialists available to them.

Regarding this year’s visiting consultants, Dr. Sultan Sharif, Director of MoHAP’s Visiting Consultants Office, said, "MoHAP is always keen on attracting the most prominent international competencies in complex and rare medical specialties.

Our aim is to develop therapeutic services provided to our patients, keep pace with the latest updates in the global medical arena and enrich the experiences of our medical staff, in line with the National Health Strategy and the UAE Vision 2021, which seeks to provide world-class medical services."
