CAIRO- Egypt's state grains buyer GASC has cancelled its international tender for vegetable oils for arrival Jan. 5-25, it said on Wednesday.
GASC did not give a reason for the cancellation.
The lowest offer presented in the tender on Wednesday was $1,440.00 a tonne c&f for 11,500 tonnes of sunflower oil, traders said.
The lowest offer presented for soyoil was $1,444.00 a tonne c&f for 30,000 tonnes with payment at sight, they added.
