The Sultanate’s leading pipe manufacturer TMK Gulf International Pipe Industry LLC (TMK GIPI) has promoted Maryam Al Kindy to the position of Chief Operating Officer of its Mill in Oman.
Maryam joined the company as a trainee in 2009 after been graduated from a college with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. After the completion of the training with excellent results she was selected for a permanent job in TMK GIPI. Maryam had earned more than 7 years of experience in production and management spheres, with TMK GIPI sponsoring her attendance for leadership, management and industrial programs. Maryam was enrolled in different positions in the company starting from 2009, where she has climbed higher positions rapidly until being the company COO.
Maryam will be responsible now for the daily operation of the company and routinely reports to the highest-ranking executive, usually the chief executive officer (CEO).
