Saudi Arabia's Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) has urged all private sector companies to announce jobs resulting from their operations and maintenance contracts in public institutions through the National Labor Gateway ‘Taqat’, to benefit from its services in reaching qualified Saudi job-seekers.

Hadaf is coordinating with relevant sectors to cover the costs of training programmes to enable Saudi cadres to work in operations and maintenance sector and to increase the percentage of Saudi participation in the labour market, said a Saudi Press Agency report.

The localisation scheme for the operations and maintenance sector is aiming to provide attractive job opportunities for citizens in vital sectors, improve the working environment in this sector, and increase the role of the private sector in economic development to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The Minister of Labor and Social Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Human Resources Development Fund, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman AlRajhi has recently issued a decision to increase the percentage of localisation in operations and maintenance sector, along with approving the localisation guide for operations and maintenance contracts.
