Registration for grants for an undergraduate medicine programme is set to open next week.

For the fourth consecutive year, Al Mabarrah Al Khalifia Foundation (MKF) is offering Her Highness Shaikha Moza bint Hamad Medical Grant in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain.

The scholarship is part of MKF’s aim to provide more opportunities for high-achieving students and enabling them to attain their career and academic goals.

It covers tuition fees as well as other benefits under the Rayaat Programme.

Registration opens on June 7 and continues until June 20, and applications can be submitted on www.mkfbh.org.

“We are fully committed to equipping and empowering the next generation in order to raise the bar to new heights in the kingdom,” said MKF chairwoman Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa.

Applicants must be fresh Bahraini graduates with a minimum average of 98 per cent in secondary school in science and must complete all procedures pertaining to the application process and obtaining admission at RCSI-Bahrain.

They must apply on both MKF’s and the university’s website and will be selected after a thorough assessment of the online application, interview, and volunteer work.
