SalamAir, Oman’s fastest-growing value-for-money airline, has signed an agreement with the country’s Ministry of Manpower at the ministry headquarters.

The partnership aims to provide travel services, reservations, dedicated personnel and 24-hour services for the ministry.

The agreement was signed by Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bakri, minister of manpower, and Dr. Anwar Al-Rawas, chairman of SalamAir.

Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir, said: “We are happy to start these new relations with the Ministry of Manpower as we continue our commitment to cooperate closely with the government sector. We hope that by signing this agreement we can provide support to the Ministry of Manpower with services related to travel, and reservations with a dedicated personnel to offer a 24-hour service.”

SalamAir currently operates three Airbus A320 aircraft and five Airbus A320Neo aircraft, making it the first Omani carrier to utilize the highest rated single-aisle aircraft. SalamAir flies to domestic destinations including Muscat, Salalah and Suhar and international destinations to Abu Dubai, Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Tehran, Shiraz, Istanbul, Alexandria, Khartoum, Multan, Sialkot, Karachi, Dhaka, Chattogram, Katmandu, Colombo and Phuket.
