Dubai, UAE: As the ADIPEC Virtual Strategic Conference commences, leading business advisory Trajan Consulting has announced a new bespoke Fintech, AI and Agile division for the GCC.

She added: “For example, BP aims to install methane measurement at all its existing major oil and gas processing sites by 2023, publish the data, and then drive a 50% reduction in methane intensity of its operations.”
The British oil giant’s new strategy to be a ‘Net Zero’ emissions company by 2050 or sooner is one of the most ambitious climate pledges yet made by an oil major. Bernard Looney, CEO of BP, will be a key speaker at the ADIPEC Virtual Strategic Conference (9-12 November 2020). He will discuss how energy companies are future-proofing their business operations.
Granger stressed that before setting a Net Zero target, it is imperative that other businesses in the region develop a clear road map of the actions that will reduce their own emissions as far as possible in the first instance.
“Announcing a Net Zero target without a clear strategic plan in place risks damaging your green credentials more than enhancing them,” she said.
