SMEET Ready Mix has opened its new plant in Ras Bufontas special economic zone.

The company’s Managing Director Abdullah Mohammed Al Kuwari, Acting CEO Sure V. Satyanarayana and  Manateq Senior Project Manager Damien Healey jointly inaugurated the new ready mix plant in the Manateq Economic Zone.

The new plant will play a significant role in development of Ras Bufontas infrastructure sector.

The Economic Zone will be filled with top quality facilities, combined with the unique service to make Ras Bufontas an efficient, sustainable, and premier business hub

Abdullah said. He thanked Manateq for the opportunity provided to SMEET and giving the trust in supply of concrete products for construction of state of the art facilities. He assured the maximum support from SMEET in development of Ras Bufontas project, the company said in a statement here, yesterday.

SMEET was jointly established in 2010 by Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, Barwa Real Estate Company and The First Investor. SMEET Ready Mix concrete division is currently operational with production facilities at Industrial Area, Lusail, Duhail and Mesaieed. Beside from Ready Mix Concrete SMEET also have the largest Precast factory in Mena region. Located at Mesaieed, covering a massive area of 300,000 square meters, SMEET produces various precast elements, pavers, kerbs and blocks.

SMEET Ready Mix has gained the trust of the market and been chosen by regional and international experts.
