Manama, Bahrain: In continuance of its generous support, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia received a grant from the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) as part of the Bank's efforts aimed at comprehensive development within the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its focus on achieving social responsibility goals by supporting various civil society organizations in several sectors. This continuous support underlines the Bank's true belief in the outstanding efforts and the clear impact of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia in enriching the educational outcomes at the local level and preparing a generation of well-educated and responsible Bahraini youth.

Mrs. Dana Abdulla Buheji, Chief Human Resources Officer at the National Bank of Bahrain, received Shaikha Lulwa bint Ahmed bin Mohamed AlKhalifa, Member of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, and Mrs. Saba Yousef Seyadi, CEO of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation at the Bank's headquarters in Manama, where the cheque was delivered in the presence of Mr. Shafi Ahmed Al Mannai, NBB’s Head of Compensation & Benefits.

This support comes within the framework of the grants and donations program carried out by the National Bank of Bahrain since 1980. The support received by AlMabarrah AlKhalifia will be utilized in financing its various programs and initiatives aimed at improving the education sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to striving to empower young people and develop their practical and academic skills, and grow their creativity and innovation potentials. The Foundation will also use this grant for launching programs, courses, workshops and numerous training opportunities for students, as well as instill the concepts of social responsibility.

Commenting on this support, Shaikha Lulwa bint Ahmed Al Khalifa, Member of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said: “We extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the National Bank of Bahrain for their renewed support, which will contribute towards the successful achievement of the Foundation’s initiatives and programs. We look forward to further cooperation in the future in order to reach our mutual goals.”

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation is a non-profit foundation registered and licensed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development. Established in 2011 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, it aims to create a positive impact in the education field and empower Bahraini youth to reach their optimum potential by providing knowledge, skills, and expertise which will benefit them and the Kingdom as a whole.
