Dubai: Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, today reiterated its commitment to Emiratisation with the launch of ‘Kuwati’, an in-house women’s empowerment programme for UAE nationals. This initiative is in line with the National Strategy for Empowerment of Emirati Women that was launched in 2015 by HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of Family Development Foundation and President of Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, to achieve gender equality and women’s empowerment in the UAE and around the world.

Marwan Salem Abunawas AlMheiri, Chief Human Resources Officer at Emirates Islamic, said: “Emirates Islamic is committed to supporting the success of Emarati women, who play an instrumental role in shaping the future of the UAE and helping realise the country’s visionary aspirations. We are confident that the Kuwati programme will enable the bank to build a strong pool of UAE national female talent and cement our status as an employer of choice for Emarati women across the nation.”
