Cairo –  Finishing work of towers at the central business district in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital is set to begin in January 2020, assistant to the housing minister Khaled Abbas said.

Delivery of these towers is expected to start mid-2021, Abbas added during a press conference on Tuesday.

Construction works of the Iconic Tower, planned to be Africa’s tallest tower at 385 metres high, are carried out on a record pace, he noted.

The project is being established in partnership with China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC).
