Cairo –  The major shareholders of the Egyptian Starch and Glucose have received a final offer to sell their shares in the company.

Cairo Three A for International Industries has offered to buy the stakes of Americana Group for Food and Touristic Projects, the Egyptian Company for International Touristic Projects (Americana Egypt) and Cairo Poultry in the Egyptian Starch and Glucose at EGP 8.54 apiece, according to a bourse disclosure on Wednesday.

Americana Group, Americana Egypt, Cairo Poultry own 20.53 million shares, 11.63 million shares, 13.65 million shares in the company, respectively.

Upon accepting the offer, Cairo Three A will submit a mandatory tender offer to the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority no later than 14 April.

Shareholders will disclose their stand on the offer on 9 April.
