Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Azizi Developments, one of the leading private developers in the UAE, has announced that it has reached the 97 per cent construction milestone at Shaista, an exceptionally well-connected residential development in the heart of Dubai’s new growth corridor – Al Furjan. The building is scheduled for completion by the end of Q1, 2021.

Shaista’s structure, blockwork, the internal plaster, tiling and the façade works are 100 per cent complete. The mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works stand at 98 per cent and HVAC at 99 per cent. External works are on schedule as well - currently at 99 per cent, with the swimming pool and overall finishing works having reached 93 per cent, and elevator works being at 90 per cent.

Mohamed Ragheb, Executive Director - Engineering Division at Azizi Developments, said: “Despite the pandemic induced-challenges, Shaista, along with several other of our projects, is nearing completion rapidly. This underlines our commitment to timely delivery, all while adhering to our very rigorous quality control measures and pioneering best practices.  We are currently focusing on the delivery of our ongoing projects, all of which add value to the market, distinguished by their strategic locations, premium amenities, and outstanding build quality. Shaista’s world-class units cater to both end-users who wish to move from renting their home to a more lucrative, elevated owned-home lifestyle, as well as to investors who appreciate Al Furjan’s growing rental yields.”

Spread across its 12 residential floors, Shaista is home to 284 units comprising 137 studios, 124 one- and 15 two-bedroom apartments, 8 penthouses and 7,100 sq. ft of retail space.

Adding to the prospects of the development, Shaista is outstandingly well connected to Dubai’s many points of interest, including all major business, leisure and retail hubs, through the new Route 2020 metro line and its direct access to Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.

Al Maktoum International Airport and the Expo 2020 site can be reached in just 15 minutes, with Dubai Marina and JBR only being 10 minutes from the project. Ideal for a modern, well-connected lifestyle, yet away from the bustle of the city, residents will also enjoy the convenience of being in proximity to Ibn Battuta Mall, Discovery Gardens, The Gardens, Jebel Ali Village, and Jebel Ali Free Zone, all of which are just five minutes away.
