DUBAI – (NASDAQ:AMZN)This year, Prime Day was once again the largest shopping event worldwide in Amazon history with more than one million deals exclusively for Prime members. Over the two days of Prime Day, on July 15 and 16, Prime members purchased more than 175 million items.

United Arab Emirates Highlights from Prime Day 2019

  • Deal categories enjoyed most by members in the UAE included Health, Beauty and Perfumes, Baby Products, and Pet Products.
  • Members in the UAE purchased more than 21,000 liters of bottled water, more 8,500 kg of powder detergent and more than 15,000 square meters of paper towels.
  • The best-selling Amazon devices in the UAE were the Kindle Paperwhite and the All-New Kindle.
