Ajman: The emirate of Ajman celebrated New Year’s Eve 2022 with a huge and colorful fireworks show organized by the Ajman Department of Tourism Development in conjunction with the celebrations happening all over the country, where a set of fireworks was launched from two different locations in Ajman city – one from the Ajman Corniche and the second from the Al Zorah area.

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, said: “We congratulate the people of the UAE and the whole world during the celebration of the New Year 2022, and wish for a year full of peace and stability. We ask God to grant our leaders, people, country, and the world a prosperous year, as well as a brighter future for all humanity”.

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stated that the UAE has always been a leading country during such huge celebrations, and he pointed out that the “World’s Coolest Winter” campaign which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, grants the winter tourism, the festive season, and New Year celebrations, along with the leisure and entertainment sectors in the UAE a special touch every year, as it aims to encourage locals and residents to rediscover the uniqueness and beauty of the touristic destinations within the  country.

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi clarified that the emirate of Ajman is welcoming the new year with optimism as the economy and tourism sectors return to life. He asserted that Ajman succeeded in maintaining its position as an important destination that attracts visitors from all over the world, especially during the New Year celebrations which have been an object of high anticipation every year due to the various sustainable and developed tourism features the emirate enjoys, whether in terms of infrastructure and services, hospitality and tourism facilities, its natural and environmental diversity, leisure and entertainment, shopping and festivals, or sports and cultural tourism, all of which have rendered Ajman as the preferred destination for tourism.
