1,039 new COVID-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Tuesday

Bahrain yesterday registered 1,039 new Covid-19 cases alongside 1,040 recoveries and five fatalities.

Five women – a Bahraini, 65, four expats, 62, 55, 62 and 40, died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths to 605.

Of the new cases, 448 were expat workers, 554 contacts of active cases and 37 travel-related.

An additional 1,040 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 154,711.

Of the 10,841 active cases, 144 are receiving treatment and 95 in critical condition.
