Spain-headquartered Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy said on Wednesday that it has received an order for supplying wind turbines for the 301-megawatt (MW) Boujdour wind farm project in Morocco.

The company said in a bourse statement that the contract was awarded to one of its affiliate companies by the Nareva-ENEL Green Power consortium.

The statement didn't disclose the contract value.

The Boujdour windfarm, located located in the South of Morocco, is part of an 850 MW tender (Projet Éolien Intégré) awarded to the consortium in 2016.

The firm order encompasses the supply, transport, installation, commissioning and testing of 87 units of the SG 3.4-132 wind turbine and a 5-year service agreement, the statement said, adding that the project is expected to be commissioned by the third quarter of 2022.
