Pio-Tech Sponsors New Trends in Computing Sciences Conference

Organized by Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT)

Amman - Jordan: Pio-Tech, the leading provider of Banking Business Intelligence and Performance Management Solutions in the Middle East and Africa, served as the main sponsor of the 2nd International Conference on New Trends in Computing Sciences (ICTCS’19). Held at the St. Regis Hotel & Residence, under the patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, and organized by Princess Sumaya University (PSUT).   

Pio-Tech experts took part in the conference and witnessed the attendance of International and Jordanian Scientists from different industry sectors, who shared and discussed various scientific subjects and highlighted different eras such as; Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems, and Network Security.

Mr. Rand Hashem, the Managing Director at Pio-Tech, presented a keynote speech titled “Customer Power is Shaping the Future of Banking” and starred an important idea on how the digital turn in this age affected the use of old banking products and services. Plus, how the customer is becoming a moving target on a decision journey, where the bank must suffice customer requirements. The speech demonstrated some technologies; such as Analytics, Machine Learning, and Robotics which the bank of the future must employ to survive.   

The 2019 edition of “New Trends in Computing Science Conference” focused on digital future learning and new technologies. It also shed light on developing educational research, thinking via machine learning and Data Science. Besides, Pio-Tech discussed the future customer needs in the banking area.
