More than 200 renowned energy experts to lead discussions at the 24th World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: More than 200 of the most respected energy experts, pioneers and decision makers from around the globe have now been lined up to lead the discussions at the 24th World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi.

Held from 9th to 12th of September at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the event will mark the first time it has taken place in the Middle East. The event will witness an impressive list of Energy and business leaders who will lead discussions and debates on the latest hot topics in the sector.

The 24th World Energy Congress will see the presence of high profile speakers like H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Industry H.E. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of State and Chief Executive Officer Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Group (ADNOC), H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of Artificial Intelligence, Government of UAE, H.E. Eng. Awaidha Al Marar, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Energy and H.E. Saeed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

High profile global speakers attending the 24th World Energy Congress from across the globe include H.E. Alexander Novak, the Russian Federation’s Minister of Energy, Dan Brouillette, Deputy Secretary, US Department of Energy, H.E. Megan Woods, New Zealand’s Minister of Energy and Resources, H.E. The 24th World Energy Congress will be held in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates from 9-12 September 2019. Under the theme "Energy for Prosperity", the Congress will be a global leadership forum that defines the strategy for a collaborative, sustainable and innovative energy future that enables societal, commercial and community prosperity. This will mark the first time the Congress has been hosted in a Middle Eastern city, and by an OPEC member country, in the event’s 95-year history.
