Doha-Qatar: As part of its ambitious expansion strategy and with a view to provide exceptional services to consumers, Al Meera Consumer Goods Company (QSC) is pleased to announce the opening of its convenient stores “MAAR” at two newly started Qatar Rail stations. “MAAR”, which is a sub-brand of Al Meera and the first retail outlet to be functional in the metro stations, literally translates to the act of passing by. This move will ensure that people who commute by metro will have the goods they need as they head to their various destinations and be a reliable partner in every individual’s journey.

With these two new stores to be opened at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) and Musheireb station, "MAAR” will offer the best of Al Meera’s diverse product range at competitive prices, whereby commuters will be able to experience a new level of convenience for on-the-go shopping.

Commuters can choose from the brand’s ready-to-eat range, which includes a variety of snacks and sandwiches. With quality and freshness at the core of Al Meera’s brand values, there is also an array of everyday essential goods. For those on an around the clock schedule, “MAAR” offers daily commuters an array of convenience goods to ensure all commuters have what they need, while on the move.
