Abu Dhabi: Al Ain Book Fair has announced it will be extending its opening hours as from Saturday, 25 September it will be welcoming visitors from 11am to 9pm.

The 10-day event, which is running until 30 September at Zayed Central Library in Al Ain, requires an electronic access card to attend, which is easily obtained either through the website https://adbookfair.com/en/aabf  or the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair smartphone app.

The exhibition management team at the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre is committed to the highest standards to ensure the safety of all visitors, exhibitors and staff at the event. Visitors aged over 16 must have received the two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, while all presenters, participants, and visitors above 12 years of age must show a negative PCR test result taken no more than 48 hours previously on the Alhosn smartphone app.

Visitors’ temperatures will continue to be checked at the entrance and social distancing will be maintained throughout the venue. Visitor numbers inside the exhibition halls and exhibitors’ pavilions will also be limited to avoid overcrowding.
