Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has discussed increasing trade cooperation and promoting economic relations with the Embassy of Slovakia in Abu Dhabi.

This came during a meeting between His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, and His Excellency Michal Kovac, Ambassador of Slovakia to the UAE, at the Chamber’s tower in Abu Dhabi.

Deputy Directors General of the Chamber Mr. Abdullah Ghurair Al Qubaisi and Helal Mohamed Al Hameli attended the meeting as well.

At the beginning of the meeting, H.E. Al Mheiri said that Abu Dhabi Chamber is completely ready to increase joint cooperation between businesses in Abu Dhabi and their counterparts in Slovakia with the aim of realizing high growth rates that live up to the ambitions of both countries and their economic capabilities as well as benefitting from the new opportunities in digital innovation, modern technologies, R&D and entrepreneurship.

He emphasized on the efforts the Chamber spends in identifying proper investment opportunities for its members in Slovakia in order to increase trade exchange between both countries.

For his part, Ambassador Kovac praised the efforts of Abu Dhabi Chamber in providing all the necessary elements to push the economic cooperation with his country forward. He pointed to the increased efforts in exploring new cooperation opportunities in many sectors of shared interest including healthcare, energy, sustainable development, industry, infrastructure, innovation, future technology, and the fourth industrial revolution.

The Ambassador expressed high hopes in increasing the visits of Emirati entrepreneurs to Slovakia and meet with their Slovakian counterparts with the aim of realizing their shared objectives in growth and development.
