RIYADH: Saudi Arabia sold 5.2 billion riyals ($1.4 billion) in sukuk, or Islamic bonds, in its local monthly issue for July, the Finance Ministry said on Monday.

The debt sale was split into three tranches of 1.95 billion riyals due in 2024, 405 million riyals due in 2028 and 2.8 billion maturing in 2034. ($1 = 3.75 riyals)
