MOSCOW- Tuapse refinery, owned by Russia's largest oil producer Rosneft ROSN.MM , is set to process 700,000 tonnes of crude in September, up from 650,000 tonnes planned for August, two industry sources told Reuters on Wednesday.

On a daily basis, Tuapse refinery runs will rise by 11% in September compared to August, according to Reuters calculations.

Tuapse, which is on the Black Sea, typically process roughly 950,000 tonnes of oil per month, but has cut runs to some 650,000 tonnes monthly since June due to weak margins.

In September Rosneft plans to increase oil processing at Tuapse as demand for oil products in the Mediterranean has improved, one of the sources said.

Rosneft did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Tuapse processed 5.4 million tonnes of oil in the seven months from January to July.
