Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The net profits of Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) hiked by 30.5% to AED 370.996 million in 2020 from AED 284.25 million in 2019.

The company's net underwriting income reached AED 497.2 million last year, up AED 393.2 million in 2019, according to the insurer's consolidated financial results for fiscal year 2020.

The company's net written premiums rose by 11.9% to AED 1.348 billion in 2020, compared to AED 1.205 billion in 2019.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.65 in 2020, versus AED 0.50 in the previous year.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the third quarter (Q3) of 2020, the company's net profits climbed to AED 93.18 million from AED 75.81 million in the same quarter of 2019.
