Bahrain yesterday recorded 418 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 607 recoveries and two fatalities. 

Two men – a Bahraini, 78, and an expat, 59, – died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths in Bahrain due to the coronavirus to 126.

The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 418 new cases, 201 were expatriate workers, 207 contacts of local cases and 10 travel related. 

It said an additional 607 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 32,372. 

The ministry added that of the 3,924 active cases, 70 are receiving treatment and 46 are in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered 36,422 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths. 

The kingdom has also conducted 726,140 tests.
