New car-sharing service to be launched in Bahrain

MANAMA: Bahrain is launching its first car-sharing service.

Yoyo Digital Drive is being launched by the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry in co-operation with Zain Telecommunications Group and Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Company.

Members of the club can reserve their vehicles using an app, picking it up and leaving it at select locations.

The vehicle’s door can be locked or unlocked using a membership card or through the app.
