AMMAN - Jordan registered on Monday five new COVID-19 cases, increasing the total number of cases to 1,218 since the pandemic started.
 
Jordan Premiership and Health Ministry said in a joint press statement that 32 cases recovered from COVID-19, adding that authorities conducted 4,300 tests in a day, bringing the total to around 612,000 tests.
 
Meanwhile, the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) is scheduled to receive international flights Wednesday, depending on health regulations and conditions. (end) mgb.hs
