AMMAN — Education Minister Tayseer Nueimi on Monday discussed bilateral cooperation in the education field with British Ambassador to Jordan Edward Oakden. The ministry, in partnership with the British Council, implements several programmes on teacher training and employing technology in academic and vocational education, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Nueimi underlined the role of these programmes in improving the education process, adding that the ministry is “committed to enhancing cooperation with the council” as part of its development efforts in the sector.

During the meeting, the British envoy lauded bilateral cooperation and Jordan’s key achievements in education, voicing his country’s commitment to supporting the ministry in the implementation of its various plans and programmes.
