Bahrain yesterday recorded 460 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 332 recoveries and one fatality.

A 57-year-old expatriate man died yesterday from Covid-19, taking the total number of deaths in Bahrain due to the coronavirus to 166.

The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 460 new cases, 199 were expatriate workers, 260 contacts of local cases and one travel related.

It said an additional 332 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 41,836.

Of the 3,262 active cases, 79 are receiving treatment and 38 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 45,264 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.

The kingdom has also be conducted 933,762 virus tests.
