Bahrain yesterday recorded 382 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 418 recoveries and one fatality.

An expat man, 44, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 162.

The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 382 new cases, 165 were expatriate workers, 214 contacts of local cases and three travel-related.

It said an additional 418 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 40,967.

Of the 2,882 active cases, 90 are receiving treatment and 36 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 44,011 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.

The kingdom has also be conducted 902,059 virus tests.
